Brain Rules Ch. 9 Note Taking Challenge
Technology Reflection:
We used TimeRime in class to create a timeline and as a large collaborative group, we experienced lost data, freezing, forced log off, and slow processing. Unfortunately, I experienced many of these same problems using the program individually. However, besides some of the annoying glitches, TimeRime offers a user-friendly way to create a work of history. You can add multimedia very easily both off of the internet as well as from your personal computer. I see the benefits of this program in specific pedagogical circumstances, particularly when discussing the history of a given concept or event. I might try to find a timeline program that runs a bit more smoothly for any subsequent projects.
